Longwood Mall

The 1910 National Historic Landmark  house faces the Longwood Mall,  an urban park lined with 100 year old beech trees.  The 7500 sf house was fully renovated, with an emphasis on creating spaces that were family friendly.  The clients were looking to mix modern with historic,  breathing  fresh air into the grand classic home.  Much of the house had been stripped of its original detailing, with the exception of the extraordinary stair hall. Intricate plaster moldings and trim were added throughout the spaces.
